So today you guys are gonna be voting for the fastest Youtube video to reach 100 million views by a few noteworthy Nigerian artistes.
I don’t like to say it out loud that we in Nigeria are still struggling to crack 100 million views when our counterparts abroad are shaving 1 billion, 3 billion and even 5 billion views.
What are we doing here? Are we sleeping in the country?
Either way, when you look at the list below you’d notice gospel artiste, Sinach. I was greatly surprised and equally happy to see a gospel musician in this list with as much as 82 million views. That says a lot about our Christian values guys. We flawless!
So far so good, Yemi Alade’s “Johnny” outranks any other Nigerian female musician in history (Tiwa, where are you na?), and Omo Baba Olowo himself crushes any of Wizkid’s own videos (the often used yardstick to compare with Davido).
Personally (based on facts and not bias for David Adeleke), i would vote for Davido’s “Fall” to be the fastest Youtube video to reach 100 million views. Why? Because its only been a year since he dropped the video on Youtube and it’s just 8 million views shy of the 100 million prize.
Yemi Alade try sha but she no fit reach am first. “Johnny” is 4 years old. Just imagine what Davido’s “Fall” will be on at 4 years old? Now you’re getting my point.
But that’s just my own two cents on the matter. You let your voice be heard and vote below:
P.S: In case you’re wondering what this post is doing here, FYI, this as a matter of fact is a tech post. Regardless of how it looks,,it’s about Youtube!
